It uses premium fuel and works with an eight-speed automatic transmission with overdrive to give you a smooth ride.

When it comes to performance, the 2020 Ford Escape mixes the needs of a daily driver with the hauling ability of a weekend adventure seeker. All of the vehicles are available as either all-wheel-drive or front-wheel drive except the Titanium. It is only available as an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Five different driving modes help you adapt to all types of roads: Eco, Sport, Normal, Slippery, and Deep Snow/Sand. When you put the proper equipment on your Escape, the traditional engines haul up to 2,000 pounds. The hybrid model handles up to 1,500 pounds.

These five-passenger SUVs feature a 60/40 folding back seat giving you the option to adjust the vehicle to your seating and cargo needs. There is a foot-activated tailgate on the SEL and Titanium that gives you easy access to your cargo. You can also adjust the height of the liftgate for when you are working in small areas.
