2020 Ford Fusion

There are eight different trim levels available for the 2020 Ford Fusion. Four are traditional vehicles: S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. The other four are hybrid vehicles: SE, SEL, Titanium, and plug-in Titanium. The sedans give you nine different wheel options ranging in size between 16 and 19 inches.

As you lift the hood on your new traditional Fusion, the engine you'll see depends on the model you choose. The S uses a 2.5-liter intercooled four-cylinder engine with independent variable valve control. The block produces 175 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. It uses regular gasoline to get 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg at highway speed. The front-wheel-drive SE and SEL use a 1.5-liter intercooled turbo four-cylinder engine. The block runs on regular unleaded gasoline and produces 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. These two models get 23 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel-drive SE and both Titanium run with a 2.0-liter intercooled turbo four-cylinder engine that produces a healthy 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. These vehicles require premium gasoline and get 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

When it comes to performance, the 2020 Ford Fusion focuses on the needs of the daily driver. The auto stop-start technology helps you save gas as it automatically shuts the engine off when you put your foot on the brake. The car refires once you take your foot off the brake and move it back to the gas pedal. The intelligent all-wheel-drive system on the SE and Titanium helps balance out the torque for maximum handling and traction regardless of the weather or road conditions. The electric power-assisted steering system automatically adjusts the car to give you a better feel at higher speeds. It also adjusts the car for crosswinds and other hazards to give you more control.

When you step inside these comfortable five-passenger cars, you'll find an interior that combines comfort and technology. The FordPass Connect system lets you access a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 devices at the same time. Connect to Waze to help fellow commuters with traffic troubles. The 2020 Ford Fusion includes the Ford Co-Pilot 360 safety suite. Among its many aspects is the lane-keeping system. The car uses a variety of sensors to make sure you are centered in your lane.
