Engine (Power)
When it comes to engines, the 2020 Transit Connect gives you two powerful options. The 2.0-Liter GDI I-4 engine comes standard on all models. It comes equipped with Ford's auto start-stop technology, meaning that the engine turns off when you pull up to a stop sign or red light. This innovative feature provides increased full efficiency without sacrificing power. You can also opt for the 2.0-Liter gasoline direct-injected engine. This engine is designed to run on E85, which is a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.
